'Black Panther' Star Chadwick Boseman To Host 'Saturday Night Live'

Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman is set to host "Saturday Night Live" on April 7. Praise the ancestors!

This exciting news comes after the blockbuster movie spent its impressive FIFTH week as the No. 1 movie in theaters worldwide. Black Panther has already made $1 billion and its winning streak doesn't look like it's going to slow down or end anytime soon -- and we love it.

The records the project has already broken after only being in theaters for a month have even surprised many of the movie's cast and crew members, as they've previously admitted. Everyone knew the film was going to be a major deal and mean much to millions who've been waiting for it for years, but wow! The Black Panther character AKA T'Challa will also be in Avengers: Infinity War, per this film's new trailer that was released just a couple of days ago.

We can't wait to see Boseman switch gears from action to comedy when he hosts the sketch comedy show in a couple of weeks. Another fun announcement from the upcoming "SNL" show is that Cardi B will be the musical guest! "APRIL 7th SATURDAY NIGHT LIFE!!! Who finna not go to the club to watch Bardi on tv?!” the rapper said on Instagram. See that message below.

The upcoming "Saturday Night Live" episode will mark the first appearances for both Boseman and Cardi on the show. Tune in to watch them in all of their glory on April 7 on NBC. #WakandaForever
